What we expect: Hardworking, organized & self-motivated. Consistent handling of horses that is respectful & clear.  Duties include occasional stall cleaning (we try to keep horses turned out), cleaning waters, tack, and wash areas. Tacking and grooming horses, minor landscaping. Daily riding, lunging, and ranch/cattle work dependent on ability.

What we offer: This is not a paid position.  You may bring your horse.  Working students who come 5 days per week can have a horse in full-training. Depending on an individual's desire we offer education in stable management, equine and cattle health, farrier work, performance competitions, sales marketing, etc.  Much of your time here is spent actively working with and exercising horses.  We will assist you in designing as structured or relaxed of a program as you wish. We participate in Hunter/Jumper, 3 Day Event, Ranch Rodeos, and various other clinics and competitions throughout the year.  The majority of daily work is at our home we call Desert Bloom in Cascabel, Arizona, 85602.
